  2. Ever hear the phrase "use the proper tool"?

    Well here's the tool -

    http://www.motionpro.com/

Go to - Tools - Pullers - Bearing Remover Sets

It will remove both bearings in less than a minute.

  4. Sure there is:

First you need to take the wheel off (obviously)

Then remove the seals on both sides. You can simply pry them out by putting a screwdriver underneath them and pushing downward. They should lift out fairly easily.

Then get a long screwdriver and from the opposite side (going all the way though the hub) put the edge of the screwdriver on the bearing race and hit the end of the screwdriver with a hammer until the bearing falls out.

Its really as easy as that.

Flip the wheel over and do the same thing from the opposite side to get the bearings out on both sides.

Just be sure to put all new seals and bearings back in. Do not re-use old bearings no matter good you think they might look.

And when you put new bearings back in use a impact socket or something similar that matches the OUTSIDE diamater of the bearing. Then seat the bearing as far as it is allowed to go into the hub. Then press your new seals on noting the grooved side of the seal always faces the bearings.

You will be able to tell a noticeable difference when the bearing wont go further.

    Hope this helps. Good luck!
