  1. well...they're totally different things

a back kick over is just kicking over after you do a backbend.

it's really not that hard if you practice. you won't hurt yourself doing that..i never did. to practice that..just go up into a bridge and put your feet on a mat or chair or something and kick back..eventually you'll get the hang of it. or you could have a spotter help you.

a back handspring is a lot different..and a lot harder.

that's where you basically jump back. in my opinion, it's more of a flip where you put your hands down and kick back and end with a pop. to learn this i would definately have a spotter (coach, experienced friend, etc..) help you or you could seriously hurt yourself. i wouldn't try doing this on your own. not a good idea. even with a spotter you could hurt yourself, but in gymnastics you can hurt yourself doing anything. take risks, it's totally worth it when you do a perfect trick. you'll get it eventually though!

    :)

  2. a backhandspring and a back kick over are to totally different things..a backhand spring ur jumping backwards and a back kick over u stay on the ground at all times..

  3. Its going to sound funny, but the best way to do a backhandspring is to focus all your strength in your arms....not your legs. You need to get your strength/flexibility to a point that your arms carry your entire body over. On the first one you spring up with your legs, as you bend your back, then your arms do all the work as you just continue to spring up then with your arms for a series of backhandsprings.
