  1. u should not try flips without some one with experience helping u if you do try som flips then do them in a swimming pool first and always check around u for walls, poles and other things that could hurt u . and be careful i had a friend that craket his head open doing flips.

  2. easier to jump of something off the ground first.

it is extremely dangerous if you dont know what you are doing. try putting something soft underneath what you are jumping of like a crash matress or something of that kind. make sure when you are about to jump that you check for anything dangerous aroung you.

you might want to practise on a swing/monkey bars.

grip the top of the monkey bars and try to swing all the round putting your legs through your arms .hope i helped.

it is best with sort of things to get some training before hand.

    topman :D

  3. Be careful,I tried and almost broke my neck

  4. Do not flip off of something because this encourages bad technique because when you flip off of something you have to go back not up. And if you tried that on the ground you would land on your neck. My advice would be to go to a gym and learn it. Or try to teach yourself to do it on the trampoline.

  5. I think you should YouTube backflip and watch a few people almost die or break their faces.  Once you feel you know the risks, I highly recommend a tumbling class from a local gymnastics club.  These are much less expensive than hospital bills.  When you call around, ask if they have a "loose foam pit"  It's not 100% necessary but it's a nice landing for new skills and you also don't have to limit yourself to just a flip.  You could also then learn flips with multiple twists or double backflips.  I know this isn't what you wanted to hear but there aboure about 50 skills that progress up to a safe backflip.  You can skip some, but NOT all.

  6. Either go to a gymnastics class or tumbling class.

Or you can work on a trampoline. Look on you tube for a video of a back flip and watch it over and over to try to get the basics of it.

I would try it on a trampoline first and when you have it good there, try it on the ground. Definately work on it on a mat or in the grass.

The risks are a broken neck...I'm not joking. That's why the best way is going to a gym to learn it.

    Good luck.

  7. GO TO A GYMNASTICS PLACE! they can help
