  1. Grab any cheap 80s compilation from the shops they usually have the biggest hits but just off the top of my head.

  2. look for a CD called "Dark side of the 80s"

  3. Why not find music from their younger years and put a compilation together that shows music from when they where kids thru adult hood. You might want to keep it tasteful though..lol they might not wanna hear Lil John singing Get low at their bday party.

  5. Jazz and swing music would probably be the best unless you were going to go classical.

  6. Since he/she was in their teens & 20's during the 1940's, I'd do Big Band music:  Andrew Sisters, Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey...etc.  That's great music anyways, and most people like the music they listened to in their teens:)
