Background check, preemployment screening?

I recently applied for a position at a bank in the states, and they said they'll be doing preemployment screening. I received an absolute discharge in May from a crime that I commited in Canada. Will it show up on the background check?

Probably through Interpol, depending on the extent of their screening.  I would imagine because its a bank, it would be pretty extensive.
