Background maps for explorist 210

i need background maps for a magellan explorist 210 gps unit.

Do you mean a new basemap or do you mean detail maps?  The basemap used to be available on a Russian site, but that site was taken down.  Try out a GPS forum website (like Groundspeak) and see if anyone can make a copy of their basemap for you.
