Backlight on iPod Smudge flickering slightly

I never trusted apple, specifically the iPods much however I still got the 8GB touch back in April of 08 without any coverage from BestBuy due to the price...

Anyways I noticed the screen slickly flickers when you turn the brightness lower and I wasn't sure if this was something all the iPods did or if I was having a problem.

If this is a problem and the back-light goes out all the way one day, is there anything I can do such as bring it to BestBuy or Apple and get another one in place of it?

Your ipod isprobably messed up because mine dosent do that so you might want to try and bring it back.
