this is me* was the original user who poster this on a different question..my opinion is that a messenger bag is kinda dorky. a backpack that's CUTE would be really cool. but overall, i prefer a really cute tote that's actually BIG enough to hold ur stuff..

Pros:

-Cute

-Stylis

-Good prices

Cons:

-Not good to carry all your books

-not good to have all that weight on one shoulder

Back Packs:

Pros-

-If you get the right one they can be pretty stylis

-Evens out the weight

-Lots of pockets to carry all you random stuff

-More money

-Harder to find one

That depends on how strong your back is and how much you will be carrying.  I have thrown my back out on more than one occasion and using a bag with wheels was best for me.  I now have a bag with three wheels on each side that helps make it easier to get up the stairs with heavy loads.
