Backpack in barcelona (cheap acco & nice place)?

Question

I am thinking of going for a week-long backpack tour in Barcelona. I I will be going there during winter, is there any cheap hostels to recommend? Also, whar are the nice places there. :-)

I am heading there for a week, what is the estimated expenditure? I plan to go on a tight-budget tour. Dun mind spending on beers though :-)

Most visitors stay in or near the Ramblas or in the Gothic Quarter just to the east. Staying near los ramblas is the most popular, but there is also oone right in the beach too. I like Kabul (really famous place) and also the dream hostel there (but they are closed for now)

The Seapoint is the one on the beach and it has a very fun crowd almost always.
