  1. Level stick prob if you raise the butt it will jump -Also stroke through the ball lots of follow through ,And depends on what you call slight I go at least a full tip low on the ball

    But keep your cue level

  2. They've got it so far. Keep a level cue, stroke the cue ball below center , use plenty of follow through on your stroke. Only thing I can add is make sure your tip is properly shaped and the chalk is applied evenly.

  3. You may be stabing at the ball instead of just firmly stroking through it.  Aim the tip of your cue to strike the table a few inches past the ball and make sure that as your cue accelerates through the cue ball just about 1/2 of a tip below center.  Finish with your cue tip on the table. Hope this helps.

  4. listen to these guys  I ask the very same question a few months ago they got me on the right track now I can draw the length of the table it takes a lot of practice and determination

  5. You may also want to make certain that you are keeping your cue as parallel to the playing surface of the table as possible. You will have little success in trying to draw the cue ball if the butt of your cue is jacked up in the air.

  6. If as mentioned you are level and stroking thru with a shaped tip and you still cannot pull the cue try relaxing your back hand grip. Keeping your back hand ridgid will play h**l with all spin. What we are all saying is to be fluid with pull and all shots as well.

    Luck
