Backup Yahoo mail bookmark?

Exactly how do I backup all of my Yahoo mail files? How do I backkup just the Google bookmarks? I recently "lost" all of my Google bookmarks. For a couple of day I thought I was had. Today, I fired up the laptop and all of my Google 'bookmarks where intact. So how do I backup the Google bookmarks to my hard disk?

Google bookmarks?  If you use the firefox browser you can backup your bookmarks.
