Question:

Bad Phobia - spiders and flying ?

Of spiders, that is.

I've always been afraid of spiders - and other bugs.. But I think it's getting worse... I literally can't breathe if I see one close (as in - up to 3 meters away from me) and I can't sleep in my room for days if I see one close to my bed. Dad says I'm crazy - but I can't help myself... I'd almost rather jump in front of a car than be in the same room as a spider

I'm also terrified of flying.. But lately I've noticed that I'm also developing a fear of traveling by bus... Which is weird - because I normally like them

What can I do to make things better?

  1. chances are you will never be bitten by a spider in your whole life, unless you live in a tropical or desert climate. Spiders are afraid of us.

The fear of flying is very common, but if these phobias begin to affect your ability to lead a normal life, then seek professional help.
