Hey OK So I went to the beach yesterday and I had sunscreen on but I guess it came off so I got burned. OK So I have a burn on my back and shoulders and it hurts! I put lotion on yesterday but didn't really do anything and my skin still hurts. What can I do for my sunburn?

Thanks!

  1. I like aloe but sometimes it does not take the sting out of the burn so we have a home remedy that has always seemed to work. Take a small towel that you can lay across your back and shoulders and get it damp with white vinegar. Lay it on the affected areas and it will cool the skin down. It stinks to high heaven but it has always worked for us. When I take off the towel, then I use aloe on the skin.

  2. if you can find it, get either Aloe Vera lotion, or an aloe leaf and put the goo stuff on it.  Aloe will not only help heal it, but cool it down and make it burn less.  I only burn sometimes, but for everyone I know, it is the best treatment.

  3. Aloe Vera will ease the pain.  Motrin or tylenol too.
