My three starting wide receivers are Braylon Edwards, Santonio Holmes, and Kevin Curtis, who will probably be out for awhile. My receiver that I have plugged in is Shaun McDonald, who I'm not happy about. These receivers are available...should I take anyone?

  1. Rookie WRs are always a risk but I would consider Hardy.  He was a TD machine in Indiana last year.  I don't see him being the next R.Moss but I think his size could help out some....especially over the others you have to choose from.  Maybe DeSean Jackson if he is avaliable.  He wasn't listed but I really like what he is doing right now and will likely be a #1 WR for the Eagles since Curtis is out and Brown hasn't done anything for two years.

  2. Gafney, Hester, Meachem (sleeper pick), Toomer are the guys to choose from.  I would probably go after Toomer first, then Meachem.  Meachem could have a good year in NO with the group there.

  3. DeSean Jackson - He will certainly bring back at least one punt for a TD and the Eagles are going to use him quite a bit as a receiver this year. Grab him!

  4. I think it's a no brainer to pick up Devin Hester. Yeah, the guy has no QB. Yeah, the guy only caught 1 pass in his last preseason game. But he is the most explosive player on the team who earned 75 fantasy points alone last year on special teams. If you add that to his production he will have at WR, he should be worth the gamble this year. The Bears have it in their plans to get him X amount of touches this year, and if they stick to their plan, he will have a pretty good year.

  5. Pick up Amani Toomer and drop Macdonald.

  6. I'd drop McDonald.  In the new Lions offense, he won't do a thing.  They're going to play Williams and Johnson a lot.

2 guys I'd consider picking up from that list are DJ Hackett and Kevin Walter.  With Steve Smith suspended, someone's got to catch some balls in Carolina.  It's either Hackett or Muhammed.  I'd trust Hackett more if he's healthy.

    Kevin Walter's also a good choice because he's becoming Shaub's go-to guy.  He'd be a good fill-in guy.

  7. no.

  8. Pick up Ronald Curry. Jamarcus Russel has a cannon. He will be their #1 target.
