Bad biology teacher?

ok, so i have a biology teacher that gets under my skin, really bad. he'll tell the class something that we need to do (look for protista's under a microscope) but won't answer any of my questions about it and when he does, he answers my question with another question - which is what gets to me. its driving me nuts. i could get the same results if i just took this class online. even a little reassurance or guidance would help, but this guy isn't helpful at all. (and its intro bio.)

what would you do if you were in my situation?

  1. I can understand how him answering your question with a question is probably very frustrating, but I think he is just trying to get you to figure it out on your own.  By asking you questions he is trying to guide you into answering your own question.

I HATED biology, both in high school and college.  I took as little as possible.  My college prof. was a very intelligent person, but he was a horrid teacher.  In fact his reviews were so bad, he was not offered his contract back at the end of the semester.

Sadly working with people you don't like it part of life.  If you don't like your boss, there is not much you can do...the same can be said for coworkers.  Avoiding the situation will teach you nothing and benefit you in no way, other than make it more difficult when you HAVE to work with people you do not like.  I suggest you make the best of it.  Go to class, do what you can...maybe find a little humor it things (outside of class).

    Good luck

  2. ask him why he answer your question with a question i hate it when people do that and my teacher was way worse then urs i hate that woman so much.

  3. In my opinion a good teacher makes sure that if their students are doing their best but are still confused, they help. I guess you just have a bad teacher.
