Can someone tell me how to get items ordered, or money returned from a company.

I have sent letters, 5 emails and 6 phone calls to no avail.

I would like to take the legal route please.

  1. Write a letter to the company demanding that they deliver your goods or return your money within 7 days.  In it say explain the circumstances of your order with all the references, give plenty of contact possibilities, and ask for "specific performance by way of immediate delivery of my goods or immediate return of my money" (this uses a legal term).  State that failure to comply with your request or to contact you concerning any problems in dealing with it within 7 days will lead to  immediate legal action to recover you money which may incur costs to the company.  Send this Recorded delivery (get a receipt).

If nothing happens go to your local County Court and get a form for a small claim.  You can fill it in there and then and claim the money, the letter fee and the court costs.  This will usually get you a speedy judgment and you can then apply to have the company made bankrupt if they fail to pay up.

Slightly expensive but i think they might just pay you (if they do really exist).  Give the name of the company here and i will look it up for you.

  2. LBA - Letter Before Action. Get a solicitor to do it for you. I think you can do this. Its what credit controllers do, no doubt the company who's stiffing you does this to.
