Bad connection using SVideo while watching videos?

Question

My laptop is connected to my flat screen through an Svideo cable. Everything looks great until I play a video. When i play a video there are ghost like lines going accross the screen. however only on the video section. If I minimize Window's media player or other player no lines except on video portion.

Any suggestions

Your S-video cable is not grounded properly (ground connection floats..)

Try a different brand cable.
