Bad dream, what does it mean?

I dreamt that my mother was crying, she was crying alot, I asked her what's wrong? She said my brother died.

What does this mean?

Maybe you are worried what your Mother will think about a change in your brother's life.  

Has he done something that has changed his life- or was there some sort of change in his life that has just happened whether he had control or not?  Is your Mother's relationship the same as it always has been with your brother?

Only you know the real meaning, and you can explore it. It's pretty awful for you, I sense, to have a dream like this.

Since you added that your brother and mother are close recently, I sense maybe you think that you are having feelings of wanting him out of the way.

It's possible that you have such feelings. THey won't make him die.

Dreams don't interefere with reality unless it is something you forgot. For instance, a couple years ago your brother had a bad disease or illness. 3 years later he goes to the hospital and you know nothing. The following day you have this dream and some time later he dies from it.
