Question:

Bad dreams, i am 13, what can i do?

for the past week i would say, i have been having bad dreams mostly evry night..but they are weird and random, and sometimes i get the dream that u are falling and wake up feeling like that....i am sort of depressed, but you wouldnt know if i was with my friends...my parents have alot to do with it because they were on the brink of divorce a few weeks ago and then had a looong serious talk and are ok ( my dad goes 2 a shrink 4 anger managnet tho) and my mom has been so uptight lately and stuff, my birthday is tomorrow and i know i should be happy, but i am dreading it because it is also their anneversary and i dont want anything 2 happen...is this all related?...how can i get rid of the bad dreams?

  1. I think that its all connected body & mind what your feeling affects what you think how u act.. if your depressed like i was in 7th grade.. i couldnt sleep and when i did i had horrible nightmares.. well i think that you should look at the good things in life you know! try and be  happy

  3. The only way to get rid of the bad dreams is to feel better. Once you're asleep, you can't control you're dreams. I know things are upsetting, but they'll always get better in the end...you'll survive. If you have someone close to talk to, that always help. I couldn't possibly know what you're going through, but I've been through some tough times and I just had to change my thoughts or do something that would make me happy. Good luck :D

  4. If you feel depressed the worst thing you can do is keep it to yourself, please talk to someone you trust about how you're feeling and why. You also need to talk to your parents about this, ask them to explain what's going on right now. The bad dreams are most likely a result of everything going on in your life. Once things are clear in your mind they should fade away. Happy Birthday and I hope things will work well out for you =]

  6. You dreams are only things reflected form worries about your mom and dad. It's stress. Relax. Try to enjoy your birthday. Happy Birthday to you and all of us July birthday people.

  7. when you have bad dreams it helps to write them down in like a journal thingie when you wake up.

    then its sort of like cleansing your mind and getting rid of the thoughts by getting them out of your head and onto paper.

    this is what i do when i have weird/ bad dreams.
