Bad friend..........?

Question

do you think that my friend is a bad friend?

k here is the story...

well i asked her to go to six flags a week in advance and her mom said yes do we went shopping for outfits and all and then the night before six flags about 10:30 pm she IMs me and says i cant go anymore my mom said she dosent want me to and i dont really want to anymorre either.

i had no time to call another friend she could have told me that atleast 3 days before. of couse im going to forgive her but was she being a bad friend?

Well, truthfully, I don't understand WHY she would just bail the night before. But if she had a legitimate reason to bail then yes you can be mad a little but if it was important like a family death of something then you can't blame her, because she could be sad and wouldn't want to go to six flags sad and depressed.But if she just changed her mind, then she is a pretty bad friend... but if your really good friends don't let that get in the way, forgive her after some time, because she should understand that you might need some time to fully forgive her,but just don't invite her next time, and if she gets mad at you for that next time, re-tell your story.

yeah tell her it made you really made that the night before you went she bailed. dont invite her next time.

I've been in the same situation, and I was upset she called me and said "I am going to Wet N Wild for my friends birthday" but I got over it and we were still bestfriends, because we had too many good times that over came the bad ones :).
