  1. So?

I had a Toyota car that was manufactured in Kentucky.  Big whoop.

  2. Like everyone else said......old news....nice try !!  I bet you had a big ol smile on ur face posting that one...thinking you were gonna "get" us Harley riders huh ?  Tool !!!

  3. old news dip stick... I hate to pile on, but..... "you can do most anything with those rice burners...." except be part of the history... the American heritage that is Harley Davidson.

  4. Americans have been sticking their nose in other peoples business for years, about time they got a taste of their own medicine.

  5. Gee when did you find that out ????

    I say F a j*p bike

  6. LMAO. Of course I still want to brag, when you ride the nation best seller, why not? Hey Joe Blow, you're starting to repeat your self. Did you have a good time at the g*y parade this week end? Meet any new friends?

  7. That news happens to be 40 years old, and the domestic content is still extremely high.  Do you have facts to back up your statement, or did you read that on another post and decide you wanted to provoke Harley owners? To answer your question, I own several bikes, two of them Harleys, and yes, I think both of the Harleys were money well spent. To quote an old timer's phrase, if I have to explain it, you'll never understand.

I don't feel the need to justify my choices.... why do you?

  8. Duh, what you expect before mainland China implodes in this part of history.

  9. I'm glad to hear you finally moved out from under that rock...good for you!! I don't really care where they are made, 99% of the s**t I own is from overseas, just like every other American out there. I bought one after looking at every Japanese cruiser on the market because it just looked better and money wasn't really an issue.

  10. LOL Another PMF  Joe B and you should start a club!

  11. A p***s is a terrible thing to waste. Why don't you get yours out of your hand and stick it in your ear where it belongs. Maybe you can F**k some brains into there.

  12. Yes Harley is better, why does this have your panties in a wad?

  13. Als is right on the money.  In fact, since those are the same manufacturers that supply components to most of the j*p makes as well as Ducati (see who makes their forks , instruments), Triumph (their electrics), etc, I guess that either makes makes Harleys good bikes or all the other brands crappy bikes.  And Harleys have Jahns (German made) pistons and a Porsche designed V-Rod motor, so that puts them in bed with the Germans also.

It's a world market out there john h.  Manufacturers are going to search for the best quality, least expensive component they can find regardless of what country they're in.  Harley would be stupid to buy some crappy, undependable  electrics.  Why do you think Triumph uses Japanese electrics instead of their lousy home built Lucas???  Why also do you think China buys boat load after boatload of Caterpillar industrial equipment?  It's the best there is, plain and simple and they're too smart to buy undependable junk.

  14. Duh....where have you been the last 30 years?

  15. Good morning.  Have a nice nap?  This isn't news at all.  Yawn...........

  16. Who really gives a f*** what you ride as long as you are out there on the road, By the way I own both types of bikes and I ride them all. It depends on what type of riding I am going to do as to what one I take out. You are just as stupid as the Harley owner that hates on metric riders, We should all support each other and hate on our real problems, The auto owners that put our lives in danger

  17. Have you been sleeping  for decades. That is old stuff can you not come up with something newer

  18. tell me something new, BUT it can claim the rights of being an all American bike.

  19. Thats no NEWS, it is always been like that for years!  Thats why Harley able to compete with imports.

    Starter : Mitsuba

    Forks: Showa

    Carb:Mikuni (not sure of spelling)

    alternator: Mistuba

They are all quality parts and that's why Harley could almost out last Japaneses.   Riding a Harley doesn't make one inferior, we are all shared common ground together.  We are all bikers either you are on a rice rocket, Harley smoker, or mobile home Goldwing!

  20. yeah you you can do a lot of things with a rice grinder, but riding the same one for 10 or 20 years is not one of them.

you go ahead & use your disposable plastic bic lighter & I'll stick with my old chrome zippo.

dont know why you would be interested in something you'll never be able to own, but the engines & frames are all made in the U.S. some of the suspension parts & electronics are made in other countrys dont know about the wheels & tires.

but all harleys are still made in pennsylvania, wisconson or missouri & sold all over the world.

incidentally joeB/tomB honda's anounced they will be stopping motorcycle production in the U.S. after this year.

their moving their motorcycle production back to japan in 2009.

the ohio plants will be used to produce accord's & acura's

  21. whч dont чou ring harleч's mother and tell her that he's being mean to чou???

    HAHA f**k off four eyes

  22. that's old news

actually the Honda Gold Wing and the VTX1800 and 1300 is American made and uses more American made parts than HD

btw: HD Owners hate us rice burner owners cause they know our bikes are faster

did you know there are many current HD Owners that have their HD sitting in their garage, broken down and they don't have the money to get it fixed

How would you feel if you have a 2 year old HD with a $450 a month payment and you can't ride it cause you can't afford the $3000 repair bill?

Thats why HD guys are bitter and angry and why they hate rice rockets

  23. it has been like that, who cares

every bike can be customized ride what you like
