Bad news on China, Why?

Most of the things we here about on the news about China are all negative these days.

e.g Fake child singer for olympics opening because the real singer was too ugly, and all the stuff about chinas corrupt goverment and tibetan protests.

What I want to to know is why? Why do we always have to here about the bad side of China and not the good side? Is it because china is a newly developing country and we don't know anything about them, there cultures and customs are different and because of that we are afraid of them and set out to always find whats bad about them.

Or is it because it is simply true?

  1. The mainstream media always focuses on the negative, because that's what sells; People have been conditioned to be bored with good news.

  2. its the media and propaganda. negative news is always great news around the world.

  3. China has so many positive things, it has a long history and tradition, this doesn't mean that China doesn't have any negative thing. All that we get in news are facts and a real reflection of China.

May be China is a developing country but it's a powerful nation and a strictly controlled country.

  4. Here are a few of the reasons:

a)Western media has always been portraying today's China still as a Communist nation to promote China haters

    b) Racial discrimination of the whites over Chinese

    c) Western bullying culture to insult, attack, humiliate any developping nations

  5. The little girl who could sing was not ugly.  It was just her two front teeth weren't straight.  So the choice is yours, singing lessons and talent or a good dentist.  I can't stand the political side of the olympics and all the nit picking.
