Bad protection from ebay?

I was harassed from a seller for the feed back I left. I notified ebay and sent them the emails that I was sent and they did nothing to the seller for sending the emails. She is still selling items on their site. The email was way out of line for the feed back I left. This women was unbalanced at least. What can ebay do to protect the buyers from people like this? Has anyone else had a problem like this?

  1. I agree there is something wrong with feedback system, it would not accept negative in one case.

  2. I agree with the first answer and I'll add to it by bringing up the question, who do you think E-bay values more...a seller, or a buyer?

Your first reaction would be the buyer, right? I mean, you're the one supplying the money to pay for the item, thus keeping E-bay in business...well...E-bay is more likely to side with the seller, as the seller is who E-bay gets THEIR money from (listing fees, final value fees, etc, and whatever cut they get from PayPal ads..not to mention the PayPal fees themselves).

Unless the seller ripped you off, your not likely to grab the attention of the E-bay police.

I don't intend to sound mean, as I've been in your shoes before and think it's c**p the way these sellers get away with things, but the sellers are the ones E-bay adores, despite the new initiative to attract new buyers with the change in feedback rules.

  3. I've had problems with Ebay. They are too busy to really care. They like to act like it's all good on that site, but it's so big, they really don't care if individuals have problems.
