  1. maybe its the razor..

i used 2 have tht to.

then i bought the venus razor..

    now its sooooo much better.

    wat razor do u use?

  2. It sounds like you have ingrown hairs.  Take a mesh body scrubber and scrub the area each day in the shower and that should make a  huge difference.  It will help prevent the ingrown hairs.

  3. Ouch I definately feel for you!

That said, heres what you do...

Clean area of razor burn, gently. (dont rub or scrub..ow)

Then once its relatively dry apply aloevera or tee tree oil which will sooth the area & wont irritate it or sting!

Try not to shave the area while irritated, but if you have to, use a single blade razor, which wont shave as close but also wont hurt you as much.  And then again use aloe or tea tree oil to sooth after.

    To prevent:

Before shaving take a warm wet cloth and place over the area to be shaved for a couple min. (this will soften hair) Then use a moisturizing shave cream or lotion that doesnt have alcohol (which dries skin). Use a clean sharp razor, in short strokes, tapping the razor under warm water every so often. A razor with hair in it wont cut as evenly & may cause irritation.

Shave with the grain (in direction of growth) when possible. This will lower chances of irritation & gives a closer shave.

If you have to go back over an area, reaply the shaving cream first & make sure you've rinsed the razor!

    Oh, also after shaving...

to close the pores, use cold water or ice, dont use aftershave or alcohol as these irritate the skin & cause dryness, where as ice has the same results w/o the irritation!

    Hope this helps. Good Luck!

  4. Try Nair/Veet or waxing.

  5. put vaseline on after you shave

  6. This did happen to me and it was more in grown hairs then a razor burn. Try baby lotion it is soft enough for your skin were there is no burn and will make the skin soft and less irritable. Try using a special bikini line razor or a razor with the moisturizor around it.
