Bad reception on directv?

Question

I just found out that when I have my direct tv on my sons tv with out the XBOX RCA converter I get bad reception-waves on screen. When I connect the directv to the adapter the pictures is good. I just had directv install on wed. and I'm guessing they never tested the line going into the room. I did notice that this time a "booster" was not install- little black box connected to outlet. What can I do?

Keep the RCA converter plugged in... It will work just fine... However get used to it... The least little bit of wind, the signal will be lost.

I really don't know what good there is in calling them. Many have complained about their support services. Try this website out for good advice.

You probably just have a bad line if the other tvs work properly.  The little black box your talking about is just a power source for a multiswitch they install to run multiple lines.  I use to work for dtv for two years and from my experience i believe it is a bad line or end connector.
