Bad scores?

when applying to college, if i'm looking to study something like english/art/politics/etc, will they care that i got a 2 on my ap biology and a 550 on my biology sat II?

  1. It depends if you are applying to a special program, but that is usually quite rare. But most likely, they will care. I'll break this down a little bit to give you some insight on how admissions deal with scores:

    SAT 2's: Most colleges require two subject tests in different areas. You can take 5 tests, but they will only look at your two highest. So if that Bio score is one of the top two, then yes they will care.

    AP: Colleges don't really care about your actual score on the AP test, depends how competitive the school may be, but otherwise they mostly care that you passed the class and sometimes the AP test. They noticed you challenged yourself by taking a more difficult course, so that is always a plus. However the 2 will not give you any college credit.
