Last night i had my lesson with my coach. Its not like i wasn't trying, i was. Nothing was working for me in jumps or spins, my coach said she has seen me do the spin alot better. The spirals and footwork steps where okay. Its the 1st time i have had my lesson on that day, and the 1st time i have been to the session it was in, will it just be a case of getting used to going then insted of when it was. Is it just me who gets skates like this in thier lessons? (Bad days) i feel really bad about it.

  1. it happens

  2. Contests will not be on a day or at a time that suits you.  You had a bad session.  Get over it.  Creating false correlations will lead to the creation of mental barriers that you do not need to build, and self created barriers are the hardest to crack.

In summary:  Get a grip, and cut those negative waves.

  3. Everybody involved in sports have their off days and it's nothing to do with skating on a different day or at a different time.

You've just got to accept it, pick yourself up and get back on the ice as soon as possible. You know you can do better and next time it'll be OK.

Don't worry about the off days, they're always going to happen but if you know what in your technique let you down you can actually use the information to improve.

Get back on the ice and go for it!

  4. tomorrow will be different we cannot alter what has gone so why worry

  5. Thought you had food poisoning going on your question.

  6. the fish was probably not totally defrosted before you cooked it.
