Bad smell at The O2?

Question

We went to the cinema at the O2 Centre on Friday night and there was a terrible smell outside in the car parks of sukphur, anyone know where this is coming from? It was like that last month we were there too!

The O2 in Finchley Road? I was there on Saturday morning and there was a strange smell still. There is a rumour that when they built the O2 Centre that the ground was not cleared properly, and this rumour has been doing the rounds for a while

Probably the chemical works on the other side of the main road, just before the tunnel
