Hi their well i had a fairly mild cold at the weekend and during it i have been salivating loads and still am, and need to spit. It has gone down a bit now but today has been terrible the cold is gone but i have the most disgusting taste in my mouth when salivating now, and it is their permanently it is so bad that it is making me hurl. Are the any remedies to cure this? It is quite distressing i have been to the doctors and all he told me to do was take suddafed (cold tablets).

Try whether betadine mouth gargles help.

It also may be that you have a gum infection.
