The Bayern Munich defender has expressed his delight on the win against Real Madrid at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday and is confident of going through.
The Reds secured a victory in the first-leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final as they downed Real Madrid with a 2-1 scoreline. Franck Ribery and Mario Gomez were amongst the goals for the home side whereas Mesut Ozil found
the net for the visitors in the clash.
Holger Badstuber claimed that his side deserved to win the game as they dominated the proceedings throughout the course of the game. He insisted that the opposition did not create enough chances and hailed the performances of the
back four in the game.
The centre-back added that the fans expected a good result from their side and they got it. The player is hopeful that Bayern will be able to hang on to the lead when they travel to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 next week for the return leg.
“Real didn't create many chances. We kept them quiet pretty well. We travel to Madrid full of confidence. We have nothing to lose in the return. It was a great game. Everybody was really eager to get a good result, and that was
clear right from the start,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.

“Everything is still possible in the return. Madrid are a force to be reckoned with at home. I think that we were the better team, and deserved the victory,” the Austrian added.

“Announcing my contract extension while we celebrate winning the Champions League? That doesn't sound bad,” he concluded.
Bayern Munich and Real Madrid will meet in the second-leg of the fixture next week at the Santiago Bernabeu.
