In the ongoing CSN Premier Clubs T20 Tournament, Badureliya Sports Club won their match against Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club by 26 runs on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at Sinhalese Sports Club Ground, Colombo.
Badureliya chose to bat first as the wanted to post a staggering total on the board to grab an easy win in the tournament.

The wickets of the ace batsman did not hinder Badureliya’s batting onslaught as the batsmen kept the scoreboard ticking.
Later, the batting side finished their innings by amassing 177 runs for the loss seven wickets.

Needing a staggering total of 178 runs to win the match, Tamil Union lost their first wicket with only nine runs on the board.
The middle-order then stood defiant and took the team tally to 42 before losing the second wicket.
The team was cruising calmly towards the required target until they lost their fifth wicket with 128 runs on the board. After this the side suffered a batting collapse and ultimately faltered after posting 151 runs in 18.5 overs.
