  1. Honsetly I'd probably wear "training" gloves for for hitting the bags. You don't want to lose out on any conditioning of your shoulders, especially if you are just starting out.  They can be pretty cheap these days from $35 to $40 bucks on the low end.  Ringside or Title may have sales to take advantage of.

Would you rather have a glove that can do many things or one that serves many purposes? Get the training gloves.

  2. IMO, Speed bag gloves have been replaced by either the gel filled gloves that utilize a velcro or hook and look closure. GRANT has a beautiful CAMPEON line super bag glove for $49.00. I'd use 16 oz. gloves on the heavybag and either, or 12 oz. super bag gloves, also with velcro on the double end bag and pads. GRANT has their Campeon line, or opt for their pro line. Be safe, be sure, go for the best and give your hands what they deserve.

  3. yes they are. and they don't need to be any wear need $50. At most you should pay $30 for bag gloves. look at my answer to one of your other questions btw. training gloves bag gloves are the same thing with a different name. only kind of gloves that are different are gloves used in a fight or to spar with
