Bagg help please?

i'm going on a flight tomorrow at 6pm and i was looking on the TSA webpage; it says you are allowed to have 1 carry on and 1 personal item.

then it gives you a list of personal items like:

camera bags

purses

laptops

ect.

i am bringing a laptop, but does that mean i can't bring a purse?

The personal item is in addition to a carry on. If you have a carry on just tuck your purse into it. If you don't have a carry on you're good to go.

I have never flown TSA, but I have with JAL and AirCanada.

I have never had any problems with carrying on one large backpack as well as a computer bag and shopping bag with presents.

Each airline is different, but in general they don't want to see brought on aboard large suitcases which do not fit in the overhead bins, or under the seat.

A purse as well as a small handbag will be no problem.
