Question:

Baggage claim jfk airport in terminal 4?-help?

im arriving into terminal 4.i looked up the map of terminal 4 on the jfk sight and it shows 2 baggage claim signs ,does this mean there are two different ares for baggage claims or just 2 baggage carosols?im really afraid that im going to loose my bags or get lost in the airport or something so i just want to be sure of where im going!thanks

  1. You can check for your luggage at both locations.

    There may be 2 signs but it's one machine your luggage are rotated on.


  2. JFK is good from my experience. Just ask the people who work there. Only those who work there

  3. 1st thing is not 2 panic,i had the same problem in the same airport,but with luck right next 2 the bgge clm there were people i could ask,may u can just ask some one who works in the air port,tell them ur flight number they should be able 2 help u!! good luck!

That means there are 2 baggage claim areas.  Very small airports have 1 or 2 baggage carousels, but JFK is very large, so they probably have a great many baggage carousels.  When you get to the airport, just follow the signs and instructions on specifically where to go and ask one of the employees if you're not sure.  Everything should go fine.  Thousands and thousands of people fly every day.
