Question:

Baggage delayed by airline company?

Last night I landed at 10:30pm and didn't leave the airport till 11:30pm because I found out that my baggage didn't get picked up in Las Vegas. I made a connection to utah then back to washington and I didn't get my bag til 7:00 oclock today. Is there anything I can do besides getting my lugage back from the company?

  1. I'm confused, didn't you say that you got it back at 7:00 this morning? Anyhow you should contact information at the air port, and they'll direct you to the appropriate place.


  2. unless there is stuff missing from it, no.

    you can call to complain but it won't do much (sucks huh).

    when I travel, I try really hard to never check my bag-I always just use a carry-on. the baggage handlers don't give a rat's butt about your stuff and they either lose it or treat it like c**p.

    sorry about your experience but at least you got your bag back-some people never do!!

There is really nothing you can do other than calling the customer service line.  You are lucky the got it to you at all.  Last year the airline lost one of our bags, and we got about $30 for all the contents because we didn't have receipts for everything inside.  Not only that they "pro-rated" it for the time we owned it so we only got about 10% of the "value."  So some thief in the airline is walking around with my stuff that I paid $300 for, and I only get $30.  Nice!  You have to read the "disclaimer" on your ticket, unfortunatley its all on there.
