Question:

Baggage limit for the airport/plane?

My dad said you can only have one suitcase and one carry on.

I have one luggage, one backpack, and a purse/shoulder bag.

Am I allowed to have my shoulder bag or is it over the limit? And should I just tuck my bag into my backpack??

  1. For carry on, you are allowed one bag PLUS one personal item, i.e. a purse.

    You can bring both.

Add:  Most airlines do not have a weight limit for carry on baggage.

  2. I assume you will be checking in the suitcase.

Check the weight limit for the carry on item with your airline. Usually it is 5-8 Kilos.

Also a laptop bag or a small purse is allowed along with one cary on. So you are fine,

Still on the safe side, you can tuck in your purse in the backpack and take it out whenever you need it. Just make sure that the total weight is within the limits.

  3. that sounds good!!!

  4. if ur purse is too big to fit in ur luggage or backpack, put the more important things (like kleenex, ipod, lip gloss) in ur purse n put the less important things in ur luggage or backpack.

in general, u dont need all three for carry-on...unless the luggage holds ur towels, toothbrush n clothes.

    hope that helped :D

  5. If your suitcase meets the sized requirement for your plane, you will be able to carry that on.  You can stuff the purse into the backpack if it will fit and take it out on the plane, but they do count as two separate items.

  6. The rule is one suitcase and one carry-on, but a purse does not count as a carry-on unless it's a HUGE purse.  You should be OK -- just bear in mind some airlines are now charging you for checked bags.  EXAMPLE:  American Airlines is charging $25.00 for your first checked bag -- not 100% sure, but I think they charge $50.00 for any additional bags.

  7. Yea that's what i would do.
