for the past few weeks or so i've noticed i have dark circles under my eyes and bags under my eyes

i was wondering if the fact i have conjunctivitis at the moment is why have them

i'm desperately trying to get rid of them, i've heard the tea bags and all of that, but i was wondering why i actually have them

i use the computer alot, and once again i say i have conjunctivitis at the moment

once my conjunctivitis has gone, and if i stopped using pc, would the puffyness and darkness be likely to go away? thank you

  1. the conjunctivitis might have something to do with it since you just recently started to get the dark circles. Allergies definitely play a part in bags and circles, not just seasonal ones either things like milk for certain people. Also, have you been sleeping less or worse lately? that makes a big difference too.

For puffiness you can also use cold cucumbers, i find them to be less annoying then the tea bags. i have dark circles as a hereditary thing and i hate it! i use a clinique cream to help, it does somewhat. and i use makeup of course.

just wait until your eye issue is cleared up and see what happens. if it continues maybe see your Dr because something else could be causing the sudden change.

  2. I have no idea if it's because of you being ill...but if you're on the comp. a lot, that may mean you stay up pretty late : / soOoOOoo try sleeping a little more! Relax those eyes :D Also, simple ways of getting rid of bags in the morning...go to the bathroom imediatly after you wake up, cup some FREEZING water in your hand, and put in on your eye (like a ice pack kinda) and repeat with the nxt. This actually helps IMEDIATLEY

if not completly you still see an automatic difference. Cold spoons can also do the trick. good luck!

  3. The skin under the eye is thinner than the rest. Hence blood passing through veins under it gives it a blue tinge which appears as dark under eye circles.

Also the skin under the eye is more vulnerable to sun tanning than the rest of the skin on the body elsewhere.

Rubbing or scratching the eye too tends to darken the skin under it.

Medication causing the blood vessels to dilate allow increased blood flow through the veins which shows under the eyes the most, in the form of dark under eye circles.

Lack of nutrition causes discoloration of the area under the eyes.

Lack of sleep or excessive fatigue causes skin to turn pale and as it does so, the blood under the skin below eyes shows more as a dark patch than anywhere else on the body.

The same do the pregnancy and menstruation to show the dark under eye circles more pronounced than anywhere else on he body.

Age seems to sag the skin, drooping the eyelids - both upper and lower; and generating bags over there, making dark under eye circles even more pronounced.

But there is a way that not only lifts-up the drooping eyelids, removes the excess eyelid skin along with the excess fat-tissue, removes dark under eye circles, and turns back the eyelids that have gone turned-in or turned-out; but also gets a total face-lift for you without going for an anti aging eye cream or an anti wrinkle eye cream, or any surgical procedure.

Just open your eyes FULL in their TOTAL WIDTH by putting a slight smile on your lips, and you will have got it!

And then this only is the right way you should always open your eyes in while you are awake.

If you are 'really interested' in whatever you are looking at, it automatically happens so.

You open your third eye this way!

  4. this is an important thing. You should know that once conjunctivitis is gone the circles will stay. i have had that problem before. and the circles will not go away untill youor sickness has gone. once it is gone you can start by washing your face more and get at leaste two hours more of sleep than you had, had. also find an eye lotion that you can put arou7nd your eyes. drink more water. and not so much sugar. these can stay permanetaly unless you do all of this! makeup won't just cover it can harm it so do the healthy way!

  5. Most of it is genetic. I have them to. Just get lots of sleep, and try not be stressed to much. I also have heard that when you cry a lot under eye circles appear darker. Not sure if it's true tho. Also drink plenty of water. Getting a bit of color in your face as well as putting cold spoons under eyes may help. Get ShiSeido Benefiance Revitalizing Cream. I got mine from Macy's and just a tiny dab of it does wonders on dark circles.

vitamin E oil, olive oil, cucumbers, & a doctor can also help. I have pretty bad ones so this is all from experience.

    Hope this helps. :)
