Bahamas Hotels?

I am going to the Bahamas with my family this summer but we cannot find a nice hotel that is a resonable price and my grandma can fly nonstop to from Newarkor an airport around there. We live in Michigan and she lives in new jersey. What good hotels are there that arent too kid oriented and have nice beach front rooms that dont require alot of stairs? PLEASE HELP!! !) 10 points for a little research seems resonable to me!!!!

nassau beach hotel is right on cable beach and only 2-3 floors. it is reasonable and located in nassau.

Nassau beach Hotel has been closed for months and due to be torn down.

Sunrise Villas is a nice place for a family vacation (not a big resort, but nice accomodations) or you can look into the sheraton or Wyndham at Cable Beach.

The Villas have a small set of stairs.. but far less walking than the big resorts.
