Is it okay to swim in January off of The New Provence Island in the Bahamas? The average high temp in Jan is 75 and the average low temp is 65. Will the water be green-ish and yuck or beautiful blue? Thanks!

  1. probly not!

  2. There are many beautiful beaches on New Providence , so there is no need to go into deep waters. The waters here are never green and yuck.  They are beautiful ALL YEAR LONG.The temperature varies.  When the temperature is cool the water is warm but not very noticeable.  When the temperature is hot the water is cold.

  3. Water temp is going to be less than 70 degrees... would you jump into a bathtub with 70 degree water in it?

  4. The water is quite cool.. some people still swim in it.. but it's brisk.. As for color.. it is always turquoise blue.  no matter the temp.

  5. I think the water temp is alot cooler than the air temp. The water may be cold at that time of year or feel cool after you come out of the ocean. It is the Atlantic Ocean. As far as water color, it will be the beautiful aqua color. Gorgeous.

    have fun)

  6. might be cold ive been there u mmight want to stick to the pool
