This may be delicate for any right-winged responders.

In the Bahamas, what is the marijuana quality? Who should I talk to if I go to find some? How much does it cost per dime? and what are the laws like?

  1. Forgetabout it, it's illegal. Why would you even post this question on a forum. You think no one in law inforcement is reading these boards)?

  2. As a tourist when you come here, you will not get any real pot from anyone.  People will ask, but you have no idea who they are or what you're really buying.  The Bahamas is not part of the US, thus not under US law.  I can almost guarantee you that if you buy pot - you will get caught by the wrong person and your vacation will be ruined because no one will be able to bail you out of jail here.

Leave the pot at home - security is also very tight at the airport - you can do without it for vacation.

  3. HAHA, I'm 31 and have been to Nassau plenty of times.  The bud down there is sick!  It's definitely legit.  You can get it from guys on the beach or cab drivers.  Just be careful where you smoke it, I recommend doing it in your hotel room with the door closed.  The best part is that it's cheap, they don't sell it by the dime, quarter, or ounce.  They sell you a little "sack" for 20 bucks, you'll get a few joints out of it but it will last you.  I've never been in trouble with the law down there so I have no idea what would happen if a cop caught you.  But I'm betting you'd be able to "buy" your way out if you got caught.  Have fun!  I'm going to Freeport (grand bahama island) from May 12-16th 2008!!!  maybe i'll see ya there and we'll puff on a blunt.

  4. You may want to keep in mind The Bahamas is a foreign country and if you get caught the American Embassy cannot help you. They will put you in Fox Hill and that is not a nice place.  Go ahead.. try and find some ... you will enjoy prison in The Bahamas.

  5. I also agree.  if you need it that badly bring your own. of course in Jamaica all you need to do is be there and someone will offer it to you ha ha
