Bahamas [spring break 08]?

Question

okay. so for spring break i am goin to the bahamas. I am lookin forward to it!

but i need to know what kinda if stuff to back. We will be there for the whole week. [7days].

Any suggestions on what to bring?

Also what kinda stuff is there to do over there!?

i was there last year and i got a really bad sunburn and it was durring the sunset and night so be really cautious with sunscrean

Bring a black dress(if u r going to dinner)pack shorts, tank tops,and some partying clothes(it gets pretty wild during spring and summer break)and bring a pair of long sleeve clothes(in case it rains)

go to the beach,go scuba diving,snorkling,clubbing,museums,mall(y... they have a mall)

Wow- that is a nice house!

As for stuff to do there, i highly recommend snorkling, swing with dolphins or stingrays, hunt for pearls...(I did all these when I went).

There is so much to do. Go into the down town area- shopping is great.

Dress for warm weather of course and don't forget the sun block!

The best beaches are located in Eleuthera and would be great to explore. I would say snorkeling, diving and swimming are the best activties on this beautiful island.

Where can you find cute bathing suits for a 15 year old? Bathing suits are out in the stores Macy's, Target, TG Maxx, and you can always purchase on line.

I would bring some snacks in my carryon or checked luggage. Everything is imported so snacks will be costly. Also being books, Ipod, camera, card games for the days you need something to do.

okay thts a nice place ur staying this is basically what i brought when i went there first of all remember SUNSCREEN

1. Any Electronics

2. 7 cute shirts

3. Shorts and capries maybe a few pair of jeans

4. PAJAMAS (dont forget those)

5. Brush

6. Deodorant

7. Toothbrush toothpaste

8. If u want to bring lotion make sure its in a small container

9. Underwear

10.shampoo and conditionor

11. Body wash

12.bathing suit

13.Perfume

For a cute bathing suit go to Abercrombie or Hollister

Bring plenty of sunscreen and lots of bathing suits/ shorts and tees'.. Eleuthera is relatively quite.  it's not a party place.  Pack some books, music, art supplies (if your into that).. a great camera and your Chi.

This is a very laid back area.  

Snorkeling, sailing, fishing and swimming are the main event.   You won't find much in the line of clubs (some local bars which are fun.. even for a family)..

Relax and go with the flow.. no problem mon

Seems the other posts are talking about Nassau/Paradise Island.. about 90 miles away by boat.  You won't find much partying, dolphin encounters or other such things in Eleuthera.

Just relaxed beaching and getting to know the locals.
