Bahamas this week, I need suggestions???

Question

Going to Nassau this week and have no idea what to pack. Have plenty of shorts and boardshorts, but plan to visit restraunts like Bobby Flay's and gamble at Atlantis. I need ideas on what to pack??? Do I need lots of pants, and or a suit jacket for I have read you need that in order to get into the Atlantis casino???

most of the islands are casual attire.

Bring an umbrella.  

You may want to bring a suit jacket and slacks for a special dinner out, but normally the attire is resort casual.

Slacks and button ups or Polo's are the basic night time attire for men and shorts and T shirts are the normal day wear.

There's no dress code for the island or tourist attractions--just wear what's comfortable to you since you'll be moving around a lot. You can bring something a little more fancy if you intend to hit any nightclubs--some may require shoes instead of slippers...

I've spent a lot of time at the Atlantis over the last few months, and I can definitely say that the scene in the Atlantis casino is very trendy. You'll see lots of designer wear, embroidered button downs, style-ized tees (think Ed Hardy) and high-end jeans. So if you are going to Mesa or Nobu or Cafe Martinique, then bring something nice - whatever you would wear if you went to a nice restaurant in Miami or Las Vegas.

No Jacket to go to the Atlantis Casino. Lots of shorts, bathing suit, sun block and $ to spend. Casual attire is ok.
