Bahawalpur Stags v Faisalabad Wolves – Faysal Bank T-20 Cup, 2012/13 (Group B) – Match Recap – Wolves end Stags’ winning streak with 10-run victory
The Bahawalpur Stags were handed their first defeat in the ongoing Faysal Bank T-20 Cup, while the Faisalabad Wolves continued their winning streak with a 10-run victory in the Group B match played between the two teams, at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, today on December 7.

Top-order batsmen http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Khurram-Shehzad-c71392 (9) were unremarkable, and found themselves dismissed early – the former off Kamran Hussain in the 5th over, and the latter bowled by Ataullah in the 6th.
However, opening batsman and Player of the Match Farrukh Shehzad (31) managed to stick it out at the crease for longer, and was joined by skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Misbah-ul-Haq-c1972 (13) for a 32-run partnership for the third wicket. Their combined efforts got the team total up to 63 by the 12th over, after which both were sent packing in successive overs. The skipper found himself trapped lbw by Kashif Siddiq, while Farrukh Shehzad was bowled by Bilal Khilji.

Having won all six of the matches they have played in the tournament so far, the Faisalabad Wolves are currently residing at the top of the Group B points table for the Faysal Bank T-20, while the Bahawalpur Stags are at number 2, with 5 wins from 6 matches.
