Start doing some chores around the house without being told to do so. Pick up after yourself and show that you can take  care of things around your room for example. Whenever you get any extra money ask your parents if they can help you put it into a savings account. That will show some responsibility.

get REALLY good grades at school.  Clean your room and do your own laundry.  Let your parents know whenever you leave the house- where you are going and when you will be back.
