How much does a Bailiff earn?

What do you need to be (qualifications) to be one?

How can you get into being one.

  3. There are two types of Bailiffs.  The first works for the Courts, they are employed by the Courts and the Home office, they look after court matters etc.

    The other is the sort of private bailiff who recovers money on goods on behalf of the private bailiff company.

  4. How much you earn depends on the type of work that you do, your hours etc. About £12k basic salary rising to £25k with experience.

    The qualifications you need depend again on where you are working and what type of work that you do. The government recognises five types of bailiff (see link 2).
