Baily likes to play in his water bowl...what a mess!!?

Question

My cat loves to play in his water bowl and splashes it everywhere. He will drop his toys in there and try to fish them out. Even when I hide the toys he will still play in it. I am constantly refilling it and cleaning up water. Help!...any ideas on how to keep Baily out of the water?

give him a tall bowl and only a bit of water in it because my cat would (when we had a small bowl filled to the max) would hit her bowl until it fell over making a huge mess

What Fun! Try to have fun with it. You have a unique cat! Run a very shallow bath, barely any water and play together. Feel lucky you have such a playful cat. My cat, which is a Bengal, also loves water and takes showers with me every day. I can't keep her out. The way I figure it, I will have a very clean cat!
