  1. do you know what are the charges in first three years. You are misguided by the agent to invest for 3 years.

As you have already taken, continue it for whole term (pay for whole term) to average the cost & then expect a 15-20% return

  2. Well on the assumption of it being a ULIP, you can find out the current NAV from various websites.

But I strongly recommend not to go for ULIPs with a purpose of saving tax. If it is for saving tax and you are looking for better investment options then contact me on 09322197831 / bhushansheth@hotmail.com / bhushansheth@gmail.com

  3. Too difficult to predict at this moment. 10 yrs is a pretty long time, and investments depend a lot on how much performs.

But Long Term Investments generally give decent returns.

  4. Hi, If it is a unit linked policy the performance depends on the share market. Usually on an average unit linked products give 18 to 25% returns. The returns are not guaranteed. It might give higher or lower returns depending on how the funds are managed. http://www.investorcamp.blogspot.com

  5. No point in asking now. I presume that it is a ULIP. Since you have already  invested you must pay the premium for atleast 3 years- that is the minimum stipulated period. Nobody can tell you what will be the  exat amount after 10 years. It is market linked. If somebody says that you may get a particular amount it is midleading. Anyway, you can expect a decent return.

  6. Did you inquire about the brokers commission and the yearly yield it will generate- Is it a ULIP? Do you invest without understanding How a scheme or Financial instrument works -

Is it your earned monies ? DO you get free dough to burn? Do you ACT first and then get to understand Why you acted thus?
