I'm looking for ideas on what to make for my Cub Scout's fundraiser. I need stuff that's fun, yummy, and can be wrapped individually.

  1. get mini pie shells and do individual cheesecakes or mini apple or cherry pies.

  2. http://www.bake-sale-recipes.com/

    HOPE THIS HELPS

  3. What usually goes well are brownies, cookies with m&ms in them or anything with frosting.. I found these to be the best sellers.. I hope it goes well

  4. Do packs of 6 cookies.Muffins will go over well in the a.m.Cup cakes are always good.I would say cakes cut in half.People usually don't need a whole cake. Also 6 cupcakes on a plate sale well.just take 25 cents off the price...

  5. brownies (plain or frosted or with cheese cake topping)

    cookies (chocolate chip, raisin, oatmeal...)

sweet breads (banana, zucchini, apple, carrot, pineapple)

    cinnamon rolls

scones (apple, cranberry, pear, carrot raisin..)

muffins (date, apple, dried fig und nuts, orange, berry)

  6. I did these and they were a huge hit.  I did the icing in a couple colors,

  7. Popcorn balls - you can add nuts or M&Ms to them and wrap them individually ........Sandwich cookies.  Either make your own (chocolate chip or oatmeal) or buy some, and sandwich them together with storebought icing

  8. Homeade oatmeal cream pies!

Sandwhich two oatmeal cookies.  The filling is just butter, powdered sugar and a dash of cream.  I have a great recipe I tore out of a magazine or I'd give you the link.  You should be able to find one on the web.

Another great fundraiser is to make mini-parfaits.  You can get clear plastic tubs for them in the deli at your grocery-they will donate them or sell them to you cheap.  Layer the parfaits in 8 layers, two layers each of:  instant chocolate pudding (prepared), brownie crumbles, broken Skor bar pieces and Cool Whip.  It is DIVINE!  I charged $4 apiece for these at a benefit fundraiser and raised $120 before I ran out!

  9. You can make cupcakes, but bake them in ice cream cones (the cake ones with the flat bottom).  Fill them about about 1/2 - 2/3 of the way with batter and bake.  Then you put a big mound of frosting on them so they look like ice cream cones.  Decorate with sprinkles, colored sugar, etc.

  10. Rice krispy treats are a big seller.. homemade is so much better than the stuff in the box!

A better fundraiser is a rummage sale, all you need is space to store the stuff (start a month in advance)and sell out of one of the scouts homes.. for 2 days.

It's pure profit.. its all given to you free and you could combine the bake sale if you wanted at the same time.  We can make $1000 on a weekend in our town.
