Question:

Bake sale fundraiser?

I'm going to have a bake sale with my friends. We're fundraising for the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals), and all the money is being donated to them. The only problem is, we aren't sure where to do it. How much would we have to pay a store to let us do it on their property?

Thanks! And if you've done a bake sale, where did you do it?

  1. Hey!!

I am so glad that your back!

    Well, anyways.

Well, I have done MANY bake sales.

Some of them just being on the corner of our street.

But, most of them were in front of our local Church ( LDS ).

    I live in UT.

And there are LDS churches on EVERY corner basically.

But, if that is not an option.

Why not do it infront of your school?

    And just post signs!

    Or!

    At your local park!

Just do everything that we advised in your Other Q's!!!!!!!

  2. You shouldn't have to pay at all to hold a benefit bake sale on a store's property. They will let you do it as their contribution to the cause.

The only place my kids usually had bake sales was in or outside the church on Sunday. Maybe you should check with your minister and see if such a thing is possible. People coming out of church usually feel generous!

  3. Tell the store where the money will go, and ask if they'll let you use their property at no cost.  If they say no, ask somewhere else.
