I'm applying for a local bakers helper job, no experience needed, that's good cause I have no professional experience...what are some skills I could put on the resume? I can bake, from scratch, cookies, cakes, just about anything, I need to turn it in, in 12 hours...

  1. Put the things you already mentioned.  Do you do icing?

Also it's good to add general skills:  Responsible; punctual; deal well with deadlines; organized; work well with people...customers, colleagues, & managers; fast learner; etc.

Have you ever worked before so you can use someone as a reference?

You don't have to put that on your resume.

    Good luck.

  2. Your purpose/goal is to become knowlegable in the field and become an asset to their company.

You follow directions well, are responsible, dependable, on time and very interested in learning a new job, that you are a team player and believe in doing whatever it takes to complete the job.  Would be great if you could get a reference from a teacher or your minister or another business person..- just saying you are a good dependable person.

Go like you WANT the job.  Dress professionally and conservatively and be sure to keep your hair pinned up or very neat.  Long loose hair is every cook's nightmare.

Then to Keep the job be all those things you named above!  :)

    Good luck!
